We only sent a small contingent this year to the comps due to our club responsibilities with visitors from Korea.

Grading day today at HKC!
Today we conducted grading for levels 10kyu-1kyu, and we are pleased to announce that everyone passed.
Congratulations!
After grading there was a short mawarikeiko session for the bogu class followed by a birthday song for our dear Peter sensei.

Busy day in our dojo this morning.
We welcomed the Malaysian Women’s team and their head coach Zenko Tsutsui sensei to join practice led by Peter sensei.
We ended the class with an exhausting but ‘fun’ session of ‘Winner stays’…where whoever scores a point is the winner, and stays on while continuously being attacked relentlessly and trying to defend winner position!
Surviving players finished the class with 100 hayasuburi. Well done!

As a relatively young club, we are pleased to announce that we are growing healthily and productively.
We closed 2023 with winning numerous national competition medals and also, seeing growth in our membership.
